Service was the starting block of this business and is still believed to be the most important part. We understand that not everyone wants to be told ”just buy a new one”. At Miners Home Appliances we do our best to offer affordable repair options relative to value of the item to anything from a bedside light to a plasma screen.

We have a team of experienced and qualified engineers to offer quality advice and service to most makes of TV & Audio, Domestic Appliances and even Small Appliances. It doesn’t stop there if you are competent enough and it is safe for you to do so, we will be happy to supply the parts and give the necessary advice or instruction for you to repair your appliance yourself.

Domestic Appliance Repairs;

We offer a Monday – Saturday call out service to most Makes and Models of Domestic Appliances (with the exception of refrigeration). Our aim is to get to you within 48 hours where possible.

Simply call us on 01579 343410 Quoting your Make and Model and if possible serial number and fault description and we will book a time to suit you, our call out charges are competitive and include 30 minutes of the engineers time. If you have supplied the correct make and model prior to his call the engineer should arrive with the necessary parts reducing the need for a second visit and additional charges.

If your appliance is of a lower value, example a tumble dryer and the expense of a call out will bring the total cost of repair close to its original price but you feel it a shame to discard the item for a simple fault we can offer a cost effective solution in a workshop repair, if you can get the unit to the store in your vehicle we will unload it and wheel it to the workshop and repair it for a discounted labour rate plus parts.

TV and Audio Repairs;

Technology is ever changing but we are up to date with all these products and there repair techniques, and with all the latest test equipment available in our in store workshop we will take on any repair regardless of where purchased. So we will look at anything from a transistor radio to the latest cinema system, keeping in mind its replacement value, so only going ahead with repairs worth continuing with. We can offer an in home Service for retunes, set up and demonstrations but faulty items can only be repaired in our workshop facility, so would suggest any items you believe to be faulty are brought to our store to reduce the cost of repair.

Small appliance Repairs;

Not only has our in store engineer had years of experience repairing your vacuum cleaners, microwaves and small kitchen appliances again at prices relative to the items value. Our engineer also has a wealth of knowledge and advice available for every appliance large or small and can advise you on ways of getting the right parts, and if safe to do so, fitting them yourself.

Aerials and Satellite Systems;

Our installer will give you the peace of mind of a quality approved installation whether it is domestic or commercial. High standards of workmanship will ensure the best results from your equipment.
